I wanted to trace back the heritage of the Insular Celtic people. The issue is, there isn't a whole lot to go on. Through my research, the people that once lived there were very much influenced by other cultures. Major groups including the Vikings and then eventually the Christian Movement into the British and Irish Isles. The only thing I really had to go on, was the mystery of the carved stone balls that have been discovered across the islands. No actual purpose is known for these, but of the most ornate, I was able to get a glimpse at the Celtic design of the Neolithic era.
I put my created typeface to work by highlighting an ancient Irish proverb:
"It is in the shelter of each other that the people live."
NeoCeltic Regular Type is the typeface at it's base elements, a beautifully flat piece
